ABOUT US
GoLiveServe is a movement of students and professionals seeking to merge their education, career, and missions. We are a network of Christians committed to pursuing God’s calling for our lives. We are also a sending agency committed to reaching East and Central Asia (part of the 10/40 window and countries where billions of people have yet to hear the gospel) through short term projects and long term commitments.
Our History
As a non-profit organization founded by Chinese Americans, we are especially interested in promoting understanding and cooperation among North America, China and other Asian countries.
Since 1988 we have been sending teams and individuals to reach Chinese students and professionals at the university and in the workplace. Because of our connections in education, business and other fields, we are able to connect North Americans with present and future influencers in China.
Since 2000 we have also been sending short term teams to Muslim countries in Central and West Asia. We are looking to mobilize more young people to take up their calling as academics and business people, living and serving among Muslims in these areas.
We are here to journey with you, whether it’s 2 weeks, 6 weeks, or 2 years or more.
Our Hope
We mobilize, equip, and send you, so that as an individual, you can share God’s love with the people you meet. As a team, your individual efforts are multiplied. As part of a strategic movement over time, you can make a difference by transforming cultures and impacting nations.
Life is not just a summer or a few years. It’s the past, present and future with a convergence of career and calling that integrates family, work and ministry. We also encourage missional living at home and abroad, on a campus or in the workplace. See our Resources page for tips.
