MUSLIM WORLD PROJECT

Location 3 | Kyrgyzstan

The majority of our time will be spent in Kyrgyzstan, a poor former communist country in Central Asia, where we will be supporting a Kyrgyz-led ministry as we meet and befriend nominal Muslims.

Have you heard of Kyrgyzstan? This is a small country in the heart of the Asian continent, at the foot of the beautiful Tien Shan mountains to the west of China.

You’ll get a chance to meet and minister to different Central Asian people groups: Kyrgyz, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Russian, Uighurs, and a number of Chinese and Koreans too! Many of them are cultural (non-practicing) Muslims.

In Kyrgyzstan we will teach conversational English to high school and college-aged students. As we make friends with the students, we get to share God’s love with them, too.
