No snazzy brochure or slick promotional strategy can duplicate what you can share through your personal short term project experience and testimony. In fact, the majority of people who have joined our projects have come because of a recommendation from a friend.

To encourage others to go, you only need to share with them what you have learned. As you recall how God worked in your short term project experience, you will have the opportunity to hear him speak to you in new ways. As you tell your friends about your experiences, you will keep your vision and excitement alive and be better able to articulate and define your own vision.

• Enlarge your personal network as you meet people outside of your immediate circles

• Develop your presentation skills as you talk to individuals and speak to small or large groups

• Receive mentoring from GLS staff and grow in your World Christian journey as you serve as a mobilizer

Sharing your experience is also a way for you to bless others. Therefore, we encourage you to look for such opportunities with campus groups or churches in your community.
