Rev. Dr. Gary Domiano

Senior Pastor

Gary was born and raised in Jackson Heights, NY, a community where over 150 languages are spoken.  In 1990, he began serving as the youth pastor of First Baptist Church of Flushing in Queens, one of the most culturally diverse urban areas in the world.  Later he became the English pastor.  As the current Senior Pastor, he leads three congregations that worship in Chinese, English and Spanish under a joint deacon board.  

Gary has been married for over 30 years to Hazel-Ann, a native of Barbados.  They have five children. 

Gary went to Stony Brook University (BS Mathematics), Bethel Seminary of the East (MDiv), and New York Theological Seminary (DMin). His favorite authors include John Stott, D.A. Carson, Tim Keller, and N.T. Wright.  He quarterbacks the older squad at the annual First Baptist Church of Flushing football game each Thanksgiving.
